As a high school student, I had a vision from the Holy Spirit of a community– not knowing it would eventually take on the form of this ministry. I assumed it was just my imagination at the time, but a year after being radically saved, the Lord brought that vision back to my remembrance—and gave it a name: The JRNE (Pronounced: “journey” | jur•nee).

On April 15, 2022, in the middle of one of the most transformative times of my life, The JRNE was born. It was a response to a deep personal burden: to support and equip fellow believers on the narrow path of faith through community. I began building while envisioning so much more than just a podcast-our. original digital format.

As a college student living on campus, I found myself in an environment negatively reminiscent of my past, feeling quite isolated, even though I was surrounded by people. I quickly discovered that the path to life was indeed narrow, difficult, and lonely. Yearning for Christian companionship, I spent a significant amount of time in solitude, praying for God to connect me with like-minded people. But at the time, the only sense of community I could find was through social media. Feeling the Lord’s prompting, I was led to create the very space I had longed for—since I couldn’t find it anywhere else. Not that it didn’t exist, but I believe He created that void for me intentionally. If I had stumbled upon the “perfect community for me” back then, The JRNE might have never come to be.

While it began as a podcast, the vision—since its conception—has always extended far beyond that. It is a God-breathed call to cultivate a worldwide virtual and physical community that leaves no one behind to stumble alone on this narrow path. The JRNE exists for those who are faithful but isolated, hungry for truth, but unsure how to stand strong in a world that offers easy compromise. Now that you’re here, I hope you don’t have to go through what I went through.

The JRNE hopes to inspire believers everywhere to find genuine hands to hold on this narrow path—so that we may all endure to the end.
